The Czech Institute of Egyptology has prepared three stations for visitors. The first one will inform the public about mummification in ancient Egypt and about things that were considered necessary for a blessed life for the deceased in the netherworld. At the second station hieroglyphic writing will be presented and there will be the possibility for patrons to write hieroglyphs on various kinds of material as the old Egyptians did (e.g., ostraca). The last station will introduce new techniques and methods now used by Egyptologists, such as 3D scanning and printing replicas of real objects that were discovered in Abusir, as well as the technique used to document reliefs from the walls of ancient Egyptian tombs.
