International Archaeology Day will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm. Participants will meet archaeologists from the Superior and Chippewa National Forests and learn how they act as detectives to understand human activities of the past.
Find out what old house foundations can tell us about the people who lived there. Learn about prehistoric tools, and pretend to be an archaeologist at the center’s mock archaeology site. Regular admission prices apply.
