Point in Time – A Celebration of Archaeology and Heritage!
TALLAHASSEE– The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s San Marcos de Apalache Historic State Park and the National Park Service’s Southeast Archeological Center will be celebrating International Archaeology Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019 Events include presentations by historians and archaeologists, family-friendly and children’s activities, a Living History timeline using local reenactors, and a civil war artillery demonstration (cannons!). The park is located at 148 Old Fort Road in St. Marks, Florida.
