Learn the skills of ancient people while exploring the Ozark wilderness in this day-long workshop at the Ozark Natural Science Center (ONSC). The morning starts with a hike to discover edible plants, after which participants will enjoy some of the findings along with a sack lunch. After lunch, participants will learn to make their own natural cordage which they will get to take home. Finally, participants will make their own bow drill kit and practice this ancient form of fire-starting. As the sun sets, everyone will gather around the campfire for dinner. Tickets are $40/adult or $25/youth (12-18 years old).
