Creighton University’s chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, the Classical Languages Honors Society, will be hosting a “study break” for Creighton students with Sandbox Archaeology! We will be tabling inside the Skutt Student Center with a few shoe-box size sandboxes which hide “jewelry”, “bones”, and “pottery”.
The purpose of the event is to entertain, as well as to educate students about very basic elements of archaeology. Our hope is to engage the Creighton community with archaeology and Classics in a new way!
