The South-Central Conference on Mesoamerica (SCCM) is a regional conference that provides a venue to bring together scholars in the fields of archaeology, ethnography, art history, and others, as well as the general public, to share information and interpretations on current research focused on the cultures of the Mesoamerican region. The conference is free and open to the public. The conference aims to be intellectually broad, embracing multiple disciplines. Presentations are welcomed from anthropologists of all stripes, ethnohistorians, and scholars in other fields such as geography, history, language, and art, who study the indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica, past and present.
