The Big Draw at Arcadia Mill

Arcadia Mill Archaeological Site is participating in The Big Draw Festival, the world’s largest celebration of drawing. On Saturday, October 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., join us for a fun, FREE day of PLAY! Children can participate in art activities in our Pop-up color space PURPLE including Painting Pottery Patterns and an educational station presented by the Florida Public Archaeology Network. At 11 a.m., Jan Lloyd of the University of West Florida will present Art Meets Function: An Overview of Ceramic Types and Patterns with hands-on examples of pottery through time.
