“The Classical Art Research Centre will hold the second international workshop for our Gandhara Connections project on Thursday 22nd to Friday 23rd March 2018, at the Ioannou Centre in Oxford. ‘The Geography of Gandharan Art’ will bring together an international line-up of speakers, including a number of the leading Pakistani archaeologists dealing with Gandhara, to discuss the relationships between regional artistic traditions and other geographical questions central to the understanding of Gandharan art.

We intend to offer a live webcast for those who cannot come in person, and to put recordings of the presentations online afterwards. Published proceedings will appear during 2019 as a free e-book.”
