AIA Society: Kansas City/Lawrence

The University of Kansas’ Wilcox Classical Museum and the Natural History Museum Archaeological Division will open their collections to visitors on October 18 for AIA’s International Archaeology Day. A curator from each museum will lead tours, allowing visitors of all ages the opportunity to explore on-campus archaeological collections. Collections include ancient Greek and Roman artifacts as well as material culture of prehistoric and early historic peoples of the Great Plains region.
