The University of Northern Iowa Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminology welcomes the public to stop by their archaeological excavation on the UNI campus.
We are looking for evidence of Central Hall, the first site on campus and are excavating every Tuesday and Thursday between 12:30 and 1:45, weather permitting, except Thursday, October 4. The excavation is located between the Union and Lang Hall. There is a basic website at: https://csbs.uni.edu/sac/anthropology/dig-uni
