Kaufman County Historical Commission will be celebrating Archeology Month by hosting Vintage Garden Market Day at the Historic Poor Farm. During the day we will have re-enactments by Shadow’s of Old Texas, a Children’s Archeology Education area including digging for arrowheads and making pinch pots from clay, and new this year is the Vintage Garden Market that will consist of vendors selling plants, antiques, art, fine crafts and other great finds. Our event will have something for the entire family to enjoy. The County Poor Farm sits behind the Kaufman County Memorial Park.
