What the Heck Is It? Artifact Identification Session with Dr. Jon Leader and Dr. Eric Poplin

October 13, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT

Beaufort Branch Library Meeting Room
311 Scott Street
Beaufort, SC 29902 United States

Anyone owning an artifact with an unknown provenance, date of origin or identification is invited to bring it to our 6th annual “What the Heck is It?” program on Saturday, October 13th. State Archaeologist Dr. Jon Leader and Brockington & Associates Lead Archaeologist Dr. Eric Poplic will be on hand that day from 10 am until 1 pm to identify your items. Heck, even if you don’t personally have any artifacts to bring, it’s cool to see what others happen to drop by with to get identified! There is no limit to the number of items you can bring and no fee for the identification. Just understand that whatever you bring, you have to do all the lifting and toting to get it into the building and to get it back to your vehicle.

When placing events on your calendar using these buttons, please check that time zone displays correctly.
