Learn about this local ancient history from author and historian Mark Leach in this special evening program. You will have an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of his book, Chesterfield's Ancient Past.

Mark Leach is a past vice-president of the Missouri Archaeological Society and former board member with the Powell Archaeological Research Center. Mark currently serves as a trustee to the former, and is a commissioner with the Chesterfield Historic and Landmarks Preservation Commission. He is the founding member of the Missouri Mound Adoption Project (a coalition of volunteers dedicated to the preservation of Native American burial mounds) and co-director of the Blake Mound Preservation Project. His writing includes six works of non-fiction, an educational archaeology website (Mac Quest Program), as well as two archaeology documentaries.
