One of the special features at Parkin Archeological State Park is the collection of Native American pottery found at the site and on display in the museum. A wide variety of pottery types were made at ancient Casqui from everyday bowls for drinking and eating to elaborate effigy headpots. Come learn about this ancient craft and make some of your own. Vessels will be fired in an open fire pit at a later date. There is a $20 fee for materials. Reservations are required and space is limited.
