The Archaeology Committee of The National Arts Club is delighted to participate in AIA's International Archaeology Day celebrations.   At 6:30 on Monday, December the 9th, His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Palitha T.B. Kohona of Sri Lanka will address the audience at the Arts Club about "The UNESCO listed Cultural Triangle" in his country.   This unique lecture focusing upon five World Heritage sites by an internationally renowned diplomat has a special dual component.   Students from Hunter College High School's Archaeology Club, inspired by our committee's Educational Initiative, will attend this splendid commemoration of International Archaeology Day.   The collaboration marks the conclusion to the series of extraordinary global events.
