Hueco Tanks is a cultural crossroads in time.  Located about 20 miles East of downtown El Paso, Texas this park has been called home by many different peoples and cultures over the years.  To celebrate this conflux of cultures, the park hosts a free two-day event every Third Weekend of October.

This free two-day event includes Native American dancing and drumming, a Buffalo Soldier encampment, Folklorico dancers, pictograph and birding tours, climbing demonstrations, environmental and cultural information booths, and an evening campfire storytelling program. Come learn about one of the El Paso area’s most breathtaking natural wonders.
