We are pleased to announce an upcoming workshop exploring research applications of declassified, 1960s-era CORONA satellite imagery, to be held at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, August 25-27, 2017.   This free, ACLS-sponsored workshop is open to faculty, graduate students, and researchers in archaeology, geography, and related disciplines and will offer hands-on training in the acquisition, spatial correction, and analysis of CORONA imagery.  Participants will also have the opportunity to work individually with the directors of the CORONA Atlas Project, Prof. Jesse Casana (Dartmouth) and Prof. Jackson Cothren (Univ. of Arkansas), on independent research projects.  Room and board will be provided to participants.  Space is limited, so please submit a one-page statement of interest and CV.  Further details are available here:
