High School students, teachers, and professional archaeologists will discuss the results of two field seasons of Service Learning Archaeology conducted at the Thomas Sappington House site in Crestwood, Missouri. A service-learning archaeological field project was conducted at the site during the summers of 2016 and 2017. The project was the cooperative effort of the St. Louis Society of the Archaeological Institute of America, Sappington House Museum Society, City of Crestwood, and the Archaeological Research Center of St. Louis. The fieldwork was directed by Robin Machiran.
