SUMMARY:International Archaeology Day
DESCRIPTION:International Archaeology Day\, hosted by the Belize Institute of Archaeology\, NICH at the Cahal Pech Archaeological Reserve in the Cayo District. Akin to an archaeological fair\, the event will feature booths and interactive activities not just from the different departments under the Institute of Archaeology\, but also other invited entities that focus on either the cultural or natural heritage of Belize. While the event will be open to all visitors to the site\, the target audience will be primary and secondary school students in the twin towns of San Ignacio and Santa Elena located in the Cayo District.
