Project Description:

Our underwater projects vary from season to season and since 2017 we are working with an invitation-only model for student participants, who must be advanced scuba divers with current AAUS certification. Inquiries welcome; preference will be given to URI applied history program students.

Period(s) of Occupation: Hellenistic, Late Antiquity, Medieval-Crusades, Ottoman

Project Size: 1-24 participants

Minimum Length of Stay for Volunteers: Negotiable

Minimum Age: 18

Experience Required: See above

Room and Board Arrangements:
Supplied Cost: student participants will be substantially funded by the project

Academic Credit:
See above credits offered by University of Rhode Island. Tuition is None.
