Support the AIA as you Earn Miles. As an AIA member, you know that we work hard to provide programming for our over 100 Local Societies across the United States and Canada. In these days of increased airfares and decreased budgets, it’s becoming increasingly more of a challenge for us to book travel arrangements for our lecturers. That’s why we’ve partnered with United Airlines and Delta Airlines to allow our members to support the AIA’s programming through their travel. If you have a frequent flier account with either of these airlines, you can help the AIA reduce expenses and fly world renowned lecturers to speak in a community near you as part of the AIA Lecture Program. And what’s the best part? You continue to earn miles to your own frequent flier account, while the airline matches your miles and credits the AIA’s account, all with no charge to you!
Here’s how it works:
There’s been a bit of confusion with our frequent flier programs because of the United-Continental merger that happened in early 2011. The important information is that the Continental RewardOne program no longer exists and that we now only belong to United PerksPlus, the new rewards program that developed after the merger. Therefore both Continental and United frequent fliers should have been sent a new Mileage Plus account number, typically in a mixed letter/number format such as this AB123456.
In order to support the AIA and join our United PerksPlus program, please send your full name, email address, and new Mileage Plus number to Rebecca King, Executive Director, via phone (857-305-9352) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you prefer to book travel arrangements over the phone with United, please inform the agent of our new PerksPlus account number C5928, in addition to your own Mileage Plus number.
When you book online, enter the AIA’s SkyBonus account number US143981674 in the SkyBonus field of the Passenger Information section when purchasing your flight as well as your SkyMiles number. Just like United’s program, you still earn your miles in the Skymiles program, while the AIA earns SkyBonus points.
If you prefer to book travel arrangements over the phone with Delta, please inform the agent of our SkyBonus account number, US143981674, as well as your own SkyMiles number.
These programs are great because they allow you to earn your miles while you support archaeological research around the world!
Please feel free to contact Rebecca King at email@example.com or 857-305-9352 with any questions regarding these programs.
