Assistant Professor in Chinese Archaeology
The School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Chinese archaeology. The appointment will be either in the Anthropology or the East Asian Languages and Civilizations (EALC) Department, with a parallel appointment as Assistant Curator in the Asian Section of the Penn Museum. The successful candidate will teach two courses a year and will participate in the activities of the Museum’s Asian Section. Candidates with active fieldwork projects in China are strongly encouraged to apply.
