AIA Lecturer: Albert Leonard Jr.

Al Leonard is Professor in both the Department of Classics and the Department of Near Eastern Studies at the University of Arizona. He received his Ph.D. from the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago and has directed archaeological excavations at many sites around the Mediterranean (Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt). In addition to his archaeological work, he has also studied at Le Cordon Bleu (London) and the Culinary Institute of America (Napa Valley), and in 1997 was made a member of the Society of Wine Educators.
