Andrea DeGiorgi is Assistant Professor with the Department of Classics, Florida State University.  He holds his degrees from Bryn Mawr College (M.A. and Ph.D.), and the Università di Torino.  His research interests are Roman archaeology and visual culture, late antiquity, Rome's eastern provinces and their social history, and Roman colonization.  His recent publications include Ancient Antioch: from the Seleucid Era to the Islamic Conquest (Cambridge University Press, 2016), and Cosa, Orbetello. Archaeological Itineraries (co-authored with R.T. Scott, Firenze: Pegaso, 2016)
