AIA Lecturer: Cameron McNeil

Dr. Cameron McNeil is a Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania Museum. She received her BA from Occidental College and her MA from the University of Connecticut. From there, she attended the Graduate Center of the City University of New York where she received her PhD in Anthropology. She specializes in Mesoamerican archaeology and is interested in historical ecology, gender studies, archaeobotany, and ritual practice. Her current work is centered in the Copan Valley, Honduras, where she is exploring how the landscape changed and responded to human action.
