AIA Lecturer: Joanna Smith

Joanna S. Smith is Associate Professor with the Department of Art History and Archaeology with Columbia University. She holds a B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from Princeton University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Bryn Mawr College in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology. She is currently a member of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. Her specialty is the art history and archaeology of the Mediterranean Bronze and Iron Ages, especially the interconnections between Near Eastern and Aegean cultures.
