AIA Lecturer: Kevin Brownlee

Kevin Brownlee is Ininew from Kinosao Sipi Cree Nation (Norway House) and currently holds the position Curator of Archaeology at The Manitoba Museum. Kevin graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Masters of Arts in Anthropology 2005. Brownlee has spent his career working with Indigenous communities raising awareness of ancient heritage and archaeology. His research focus is on the archaeology of Central Canada’s particularly the boreal forest and sub-arctic and the emerging field of Indigenous archaeology.
