AIA Lecturer: Laura Banducci

Laura M. Banducci is Assistant Professor of Greek and Roman Studies with Carleton University.  She holds her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, and her areas of specialization are Roman ceramics and small finds, pre-Roman and Roman archaeology in Italy, use wear analysis, ceramic petrology, domestic archaeology, ancient technology, the archaeology of foodways, ancient daily life, and Roman cultural interaction.  She is presently the Director of Finds at the University of Michigan’s Gabii Project, and the Ceramics Consultant for Florida State University’s project at Cetamura del Chianti.
