Leslie Preston Day is the Charles D. and Elizabeth S. LaFollette Distiguished Professor of the Humanities Emerita with the Department of Classics at Wabash College, and holds her degrees from Bryn Mawr (A.B.) and the University of Cincinnati (M.A. and Ph.D.). Her areas of specialization are Aegean Bronze Age archaeology, and Early Iron Age Crete. She has done extensive fieldwork in Crete, where she was Co-Director at Kavousi and Vronda. Her publications include several volumes on Kavousi, most recently contribulting to Kavousi IIC,The Late Minoan IIIC Settlement at Vronda: Specialists Reports and Analysis (INSTAP Academic Press, 2016), and Kavousi IV: The Cemeteris at Vronda (in progress, INSTAP). Professor Day has received various honors and awards for her work, and is a past recipient of the AIA Pomerance Fellowship.
