AIA Lecturer: Richard Leventhal

Affiliation: University of Pennsylvania

Richard Leventhal is with the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Anthropology, where he is also Curator of the American Section of the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.  He holds his degrees from Harvard University, and his fields of expertise are Mayan archaeology and cultural heritage.  Professor Leventhal has published, presented and lectured very extensively, been widely recognized and honored for his work, and is the AIA’s Wilkie Lecturer for 2011/2012.
