AIA Lecturer: Robert Littman

Robert J. Littman is a Professor of Classics in the Department of European Languages, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Professor Littman received his PhD Classical Philology from Columbia University. His areas of specialization are Greek History, Egyptology, Ancient Medicine, Septuagint Studies, and Biblical Studies. He has done fieldwork in Israel and Egypt. He is presently a member Egyptian Mummy Project, Codex Sinaiticus Project. His most current book is ‚ÄòA Concise History of the Jewish People’ (with Naomi Pasachoff) 2005 and ‚ÄòThe Tale of Sinuhe, Text and Commentary’ is forthcoming. Professor Littman is the Founder and President AIA-Hawaii Society.
