Stefaan Van Liefferinge is with the University of Georgia, and holds his degrees from Columbia University (Ph.D.), Université Libre de Bruxelles, and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His areas of specialization are Gothic architecture, new technologies and digital media, and the history of science; he has conducted fieldwork at Notre Dame in Paris, Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral, and a number of other early Gothic churches in and around Paris.
