Terry L. Jones is with California Polytechnic State University, and holds his degrees from the University of California at Davis (Ph.D. and M.A.), Sonoma State University (M.A.), and the University of California at Santa Cruz (B.A.). His areas of specialization are North American prehistory, hunter-gatherer ecology, and maritime adaptations; he has conducted 30 years of fieldwork throughout California, particularly the Channel Islands and the San Francisco Bay area.
