Abstract: The Looting of the Iraq Museum: A Loss of a Nation's Memory
This lecture will go through the circumstances that led to the looting of the Iraq Museum just after the US invasion to Iraq in 2003, going in to the loses of the numbers of antiquities that were lost through out three days of looting and numbers of the antiquities that have been brought back to the museum also speaking about the ongoing looting of the archaeological sites in Iraq, the lecture will be showing digital photos for the situation and the loses.
