Virtual Exhibit Hall

The 2021 AIA/SCS Annual Meeting will be an entirely virtual event. The virtual event will still feature the many academic paper sessions, workshops, colloquia, roundtables, and other events that are part of our in-person meeting. We are also planning to integrate the social aspect that allows attendees to connect with fellow attendees and exhibitors. The platform will also feature an online exhibit hall where university presses, booksellers, and others can present their latest publications and offerings and interact directly with attendees. For exhibitors and advertisers we are offering several ways to participate in the meeting.

All exhibiting companies will be listed in our Virtual Exhibit Gallery. Each company will have a templated online booth including logo, contact information, video upload, book an appointment link, downloadable PDF materials, and optional live chat. We have a limited number of slots for Gold and Silver Level exhibitors.

  • Silver Level exhibitors (SOLD OUT) will also have their logos included on the footer of most virtual meeting pages.
  • Gold Level exhibitors (SOLD OUT) will be prominently listed at the top of the footer and also be listed separately at the top of the full exhibit hall gallery.

Additional Options

The virtual platform offers two options to directly connect with attendees. Timing and availability of both of these is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

  • Zoom Talk/Demo Rooms: We have a limited number of opportunities for exhibitors to reserve zoom rooms between academic sessions or in the evening. These can be used for any purpose such as book announcements, author recruitment, receptions, or special offers.
  • Push Message to Attendees: We also have a preset number of daily messages that can be used to highlight your company, event, or program to all attendees.


We encourage everyone to use our online system for exhibit hall reservations. You can make your payment by credit card or ACH directly through the platform. If you need an invoice, you can select the “Pay Later” option at checkout and one will be emailed to you. If you prefer to send in a paper check, please complete the registration form and mail it in with your check, payable to “AIA”, to Archaeological Institute of America, 44 Beacon St., Boston, MA 02108. Once registration and payment are complete, we will email you information to configure your online listing and other options.
