National Park Service Archeology Program
Over 80,000 archeological sites have been identified on National Park Service lands and approximately 38 million artifacts are curated at NPS collections facilities, in addition to maps, reports, and other documentation. The Archeology Program provides national leadership, coordination, and technical guidance to assist parks, regions, and partners with the preservation and protection of archeological resources.

Rhode Island Historical Society
The RIHS holds the largest and most important historical collections relating to Rhode Island. Founded in 1822, it is the fourth-oldest state historical society in the United States.

Society for American Archaeology
The SAA is an international organization that, since its founding in 1934, has been dedicated to research about and interpretation and protection of the archaeological heritage of the Americas
