Even after 3 years of excavating Fort San Juan in Morganton, NC, many details of the fort are still a mystery, come join members of the AIA Central Carolinas for a dig day to uncover more!  Spanish chain mail links, a Spanish olive jar sherd, and a Native American soapstone pipe fragment were found during field school this past summer.

Dig Day Details
Saturday October 15th.  9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Must be 16 years of age and older (younger explorers must be accompanied by an adult).  No experience is necessary.
