AIA Lecturer/Host: Barbara Moore
Barbara P. Moore is an archaeological conservator who has directed conservation laboratories at the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford, UK; the Arizona State Museum; and the Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University. Currently, Ms. Moore is a consultant to museums, historical institutions, and libraries across the U.S. on disaster preparation and recovery, long-term collections storage and preservation, and strategic planning. She has had extensive fieldwork experience on excavations in the United Kingdom, Italy, and Syria. In 1966 she was the surveyor for the British excavations at Siraf, a medieval port city in Iran.
