The C.H. Nash Museum at Chucalissa will celebrate National Archaeology Day with a host of events including flintknapping demonstrations, dart throwing with atlatls, tours of excavation trench to name a few, along with craft and educational activities for children. The highlights of the day will include the opening of the replica prehistoric Mississippian era residential complex  constructed by an AmeriCorps Team and the presentation of a 1961 era film showing Native American artisans at Chucalissa making ceramics, basketry and blow guns.
