Upcoming Advocacy Webinars: Protecting Greece’s and Egypt’s Cultural Heritage

As the U.S. Cultural Property Advisory Committee (CPAC) prepares to meet to review bilateral cultural property agreements, the Archaeological Institute of America is hosting two timely advocacy webinars focused on the preservation of cultural heritage in Greece and Egypt.

These agreements play a crucial role in preventing the illegal import of cultural objects into the United States and in supporting international efforts to protect archaeological sites and cultural resources. Our upcoming webinars bring together leading scholars and archaeologists to provide context, share current research, and discuss what is at stake ahead of the CPAC meeting.
