AIA Corresponding Member Nominations Now Open

by AIA

The Corresponding Members Committee of the AIA is charged with reviewing and recommending canidates for election by the Council to this category of lifetime membership. Corresponding Members of the AIA are distinguished scholars outside the United States and Canada who have attained acknowledged eminence in some branch of archaeology, or in the arts and sciences related thereto, including the fields of education, conservation and museums.

The AIA currently has 133 corresponding members from 30 countries. In an effort to expand our reach to northern and western Europe, the Middle East, and other parts of Asia, even the New World, we are soliciting nominations from our membership. All nominations must be received by October 31, 2018.
