To celebrate the work of a broad spectrum of archaeologists, we launched a series of profiles on Archaeologists You Should Know. Now in it’s second year, these profiles of past and present archaeologists aim to educate the public about the significance of archaeological inquiry, highlight the excitement of archaeological discovery, and inspire archaeology enthusiasts as well as fellow professionals—past, present, and future. We invite you to fill out this form about an archaeologist of your choosing. We especially welcome suggestions of archaeologists whose work may not have received the attention it deserves, or who harness material culture to tackle contemporary topics and concerns. Submissions will be edited for clarity and length.
