Career Services

We are excited to announce that the AIA has rejoined the SCS Placement Service! This means that AIA members are now able to access the benefits of the Placement Service at no charge. All AIA members can be booked for interviews at the annual meeting, upload to the CV/Resume Book, and any other benefits that come with being a Candidate in the Placement Service.

To enroll in the Placement Service, please follow the steps below:

  1. Create a non-member account on classicalstudies.org
  2. Log in
  3. Click on "Placement Service" on the top menu
  4. Scroll down to "Services for Candidates and Subscribers" and click it open
  5. Go to the Placement Service Store
  6. Begin to check out with either a Subscriber or Candidate package
  7. When given the chance to enter a coupon code on the store page, enter and apply the approved coupon code: AIASCSPlacement
  8. Make sure your cart now reads that there will be no charge
  9. Complete the purchase

Please note: The AIA coupon code should not be shared outside of AIA membership. Any fraudulent usage of the code will be verified and that user will be banned from signing up.

Any AIA member who has already joined the Placement Service this year will be issued a refund. The SCS is currently processing these transactions, but if you do not receive a refund by mid-October, please feel free to email erik.shell@nyu.edu and he will make sure your purchase is refunded.

Erik Shell, the Placement Service Coordinator, will also be your main contact for any and all questions regarding the operation of the Service, trouble with the website, or general comments or concerns.
