Celebrating the 2025 AIA Poster Award Winners


At the 2025 Annual Meeting, we saw many posters featuring exciting archaeological work from around the world, from conservation to hero cults. Three posters were selected as winners for this year’s AIA Poster Awards.

Best Poster Award: Danielle J. Riebe, Ashley Lingle, William P. Ridge, Attila Gyucha, Jerrod Seifert, and Paul R. Duffy (Tell What? The Role of Preservation, Conservation, and Exhibitions in Archaeology)

First Runner-Up Poster Award: Sara Mura (The Sensory Experience of Sacred Space: Affordances and Spatial Design in the Punic Temple of Ashtart at Monte Sirai)

Best Student Poster Award: Connor O’Rourke (Helen’s Divinely Heroic Worship at the Menelaion)
