Periklis Chrysafakoglou

Periklis Chrysafakoglou was born in Thessaloniki in 1991. He graduated from the Department of History and Ethnology at the Democritus University of Thrace with specialization in Ethology in 2014. In 2015 he was accepted by the postgraduate program of Prehistoric archaeology of the Department of History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Subject of his postgraduate thesis is “The use of the Geographical Information System (GIS) in Neolithic Thessaly: the case of Sesklo”. From the second year of his postgraduate studies he participated in several excavations and surveys in Macedonia, Thrace, Karpathos Island and in an excavation at Morava Valley in Serbia.
