Georgios Panagiotis Georgakopoulos

Georgios Panagiotis Georgakopoulos was born in Athens in 1987 and grew up in Kalamata. He studied History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has participates in several excavations, including Kalamakia, Melitzia in Lakonia and Messini, as well as pottery recording in Zakros and survey in Lakonia. He has finished his postgraduate studies of prehistoric archaeology at the same university, mainly interested in the Aegean Late Bronze Age, and especially in the pottery and domestic architecture of the Neopalatial period.
