Topic: Any

Long time supporters of the AIA, Charles and Ellen La Follette became involved because of their daughter, Laetitia La Follette, who is Professor of Art History at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. The Institute invited Charles La Follette to join the Governing Board in 1983 as a General Trustee. A past chair of the Development Committee, he has also served on the Development, Finance and Investment committees. He was chair of the successful NEH Challenge Grant Campaign (1983-1986) and he chaired the Endowment Campaign Committee. The Institute greatly appreciates the time and service that La Follette has devoted through his leadership and efforts in fundraising.

Three La Follette lectures are held annually. One is designated for the San Francisco Society, one for the Western Massachusetts Society, and an additional lecture goes to any AIA Local Society.
