Enjoy a true New Orleans experience at the AM Opening Night Reception


The Annual Meeting doesn’t allow for much free time with a packed schedule.  Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy a true New Orleans experience in the Armstrong Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel this Thursday night! 

Join several hundred of your colleagues to network and socialize while overlooking the French Quarter. No night in NOLA would be complete without good music, food, and drinks.

This evening event will feature:

      *A live performance from the New Orleans Brass Band Kinfolk

      *Southern libations, wine and spirits

      *Action stations offering tasty bites of local culinary delights

Thursday, January 8

7:00 – 9:00 PM

Armstrong Ballroom

Tickets: $30 USD for attendees, $24 USD for students. Tickets can be purchased during AM registration or at the door. The Armstrong Ballroom is located on the eighth floor of the Sheraton. Ticket purchase includes food and one complimentary beverage. A cash bar is also available for additional drink purchases.

More about the band:

The Kinfolk Brass Band is at the forefront of the New Orleans Brass Band renaissance. They fuse numerous styles of music, incorporating Mardi Gras chants, New Orleans Funk, and modern jazz ,with an old world traditional brass band sound. Kinfolk has toured in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and France.

Most recently, the band has performed at prestigious events such the the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the BCS Allstate Sugar Bowl, and the 2012 Olympics in London.
