Project Description:
This summer we will be excavating the Shafer Site on SUNY Cobleskill’s campus. Through archaeological fieldwork, we seek to interpret and reconstruct the lives of the former inhabitants of the site.
The month-long archaeological field school is designed to give participants actual excavation experience on an archaeological site, working closely with the instructor through the entire excavation process.
