Project Description:
This project will focus on skeletal remains from both inhumation and cremation contexts. It will focus on providing knowledge to participants on how to perform bioarcheological research using the previously excavated human remains.
Period(s) of Occupation: Iron Age & Roman
Project Size: 1-24 participants
Experience Required: Everyone is welcome! But experience in bioarchaeology is preferred!
Room and Board Arrangements:
Participants will be located in Redondo. Accommodation will be provided with tuition. Rooms will be shared with two or more students in local houses with common areas including kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms. Meals will also be provided during the work week (Monday-Friday). That includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This project will be able to accommodates vegetarian diets, but if they are any concerns please reach out to us and we will see what we can do.
